The Project's Development Objective is to establish an efficient and accessible real property registration and cadastre system in the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the national eGovernment structure and services.

This objective will be achieved through improving business processes and customer orientation in the real property register and cadastre; creating a fully digital real property register and cadastre system (IISRPRC) accessible online to the public; improving the regulatory and operational environment of the real property register and cadastre; facilitating spatial data access, exchange and sharing at the national level; and raising awareness of the importance of real property rights.

Under the assignment, DEEX provided ICT and GIS services, analyzed current legislation and norms in the field of real property registration and cadastre, and advised international experts on real property registration and cadastre, land law and other legal documents.

DEEX also provided overall support to the Lead Firm in the preparation of reports and presentations and the organization of study tours. The assignment additionally included translation and interpretation of technical documents between English, Russian and Uzbek languages.
