Technical Assistance (TA) and Training in Support of Implementation of the Modernization of Real Property Registry and Cadaster (MRPRC) Project
The objective of the project was to establish an efficient and accessible real property registration and cadastre system as part of Uzbekistan’s national eGovernment system. The project aimed to improve business processes and customer orientation, establish a fully digital real property register and cadastre accessible online, and improve the regulatory and operational environment for real property registration and cadastre.
The project also aimed to facilitate access to, exchange and sharing of spatial data at the national level, as well as to increase public awareness of real property rights.
The services provided under the project included ICT and GIS support, analysis of legislation and regulations related to real property registration and cadastre, and advisory support to international experts on real property registration and cadastre, land law and legal documentation. Support was also provided to the lead firm in the preparation of reports, presentations and study tours. In addition, technical documentation was translated and interpreted between English, Russian and Uzbek languages.
